I’ll get myself platinum rings and expensive shoes
A long drive with myself to beat the blues
I’ll keep my old friends safe and warm
I might get up early sometimes to watch the breaking dawn
I’ll learn my lessons before bed and wipe the slate clean
A little bit of pain is essential to savour joy completely
