Today, I called a friend to wish him for his birthday. I like instinctive conversations, as I am sure we all do. A part of the conversation went like this:
Me: Are you in Delhi or Hyderabad now?
Him: Delhi. I came over for the weekend. But I’m planning to come back for good man.
Me: Oh yeah. You’ve been going back to Delhi too often.
Him: Yeah. I should move permanently in a few weeks.
Me: And when are you coming to Bombay, man?
Him: Soon, man. After I am done relocating, I have to visit Bombay.
Me: Come soon until I am here.
Him: Why? Are you planning to move on?
Me: No man. Same old. Same old. It’s just good to put it out there in the universe that something will happen.
Him: Ah! That way. Something should happen it seems?
Me: Yes, something should happen! Something exciting. Something great. I must say it for it to come true. That’s what they say, right?
There. I said it. Something exciting should happen.
